Absolutely rubbish, third time I've ordered food and seems the drivers have eat it, headache to get refund back, time wasted, deleted app

Great selection of food, app is easy to use and navigate. Filters on the app work well to help you find that perfect meal, snack or grocery item! Ordered lunch today, it came within 20 mins, was hot and well packaged. Will definitely be using the app again.

Complained via Twitter for a burger meal and sides that cost approx £22 which was stone cold and inedible. No refund given, no explanation, but they’re deactivating my account instead!! Extremely poor customer service. Use JustEat and Ubereats instead!

Order was not delivered, driver came nowhere near my address. Tried to call driver who disconnected the call 3 times.Spent over 45 minutes on phone to try and get order delivered. Apparently if your order is not delivered, it is disposed of. My order was cigarettes and alcohol. Lucky delivery driver.I paid for a service I did not receive, money was taken from my account, and would take up to 72 hours to be refunded.I consider this to be theft. I will never use this company again and will advise family and friends to do the same

We spent £90 on a Turkish which was DIRE, inedible by some. Everything about the food was disgusting. Took an hour to be delivered so it was cold too. Never again. Second time using Deliveroo and both times I have complained.

So I get an email from Deliveroo stating they are increasing their service charge from a flat 49p per order to 5% of the order total. In my opinion, 49p is way too much for the shoddy "customer service" they provide and now they want more? Stick with the places that offer their own delivery service and avoid Deliveroo. They aren't worth your time.I've used Deliveroo several times and the service has been very good. The drivers are normally quick and the food delivered hot. I do take issue with the customer service end of the business. The customer service people do the absolute minimum to address problems. I mean MINIMUM. I tried to report an error on one of the restaurant's menus where you were forced to choose a "sauce" even if you wanted it plain. If you didn't choose a sauce, you couldn't order the item. I received a reply a couple of days later stating they would correct the problem... that was over three weeks ago and the problem still exists. Luckily the restaurant has their own website and they offer a choice of no sauce. So when I order form that restaurant, I skip Deliveroo and do it from the restaurant's website... Sorry Deliveroo, you lose.

Wish I could give zero stars.Ordered placed with delivery estimated to be 25 mins. 90 mins later nothing arrived. Called the restaurant direct and was advised to reorder with Uber eats or just eat. Completely ruined our evening.

I ordered food at 7.24pm yesterday and food was not delivered after several calls to the restaurant and deliveroo. The restaurant had the food ready but there no deliveroo rider to pick the food. Deliveroo customer service said the food had been picked to be delivered; this didn't happen by 10.20pm so we cancelled the order at that time. Deliveroo customer service promised to deliver the food anyway after the cancellation, this never came. We had to sort out dinner alternatively but very late I the day.

Disgusting response to querys. Talk about compensation even without listening to the query regarding delivery address. Cant understand how all this restaurants are signing up to them.


I don't understand all the negative reviews. I use Deliveroo all the time and I have generally had a great service. Any issues are usually down to the restaurant and they're rectified by Deliveroo. No complaints from me!

I'm so surprised by the poor scores on here. I use Deliveroo for our weekly Thursday night treat and always get a great service! So quick and convenient, with loads of great choices in my area. I've been really missing going to my favourite restaurants during lockdown, but more and more of them seem to be popping up on the app. I'm so glad I can support our local restaurants and eat some of my favourite dishes. On the very rare occasion when something has gone missing, or spilled in the bag, it's been a really simple process to get the money credited to my account.
